I was moving really slow today and got a very small amount of studying done this morning (45 min). I could have easily gotten in another good 30 min, but... its a Friday (that's my reason for being a bit more sluggish this morning).
It's the Thanksgiving long weekend over here in Toronto, so Monday is a stat holiday. And, because I need every study day that I can get, I was VERY happy that its a stat holiday because in my mind it equates to a whole other study day.
Came home, unwinded for 2 hrs and was really braindead at 10 pm, but pushed myself to do some questions. I didn't feel like going into in-depth analysis with OG 12, so I did 1 hr 15 min of www.grockit.com - its a website that allows you to practice GMAT questions. I didn't find the questions all that hard, but I did find that doing something like that and practicing is better than doing nothing.

It's interesting.... in my last attempt, I was absolutely miserable to have to study on a Friday night - but this time around - nothing matters but focusing, working hard and getting a good score - I am determined!
Happy Thanksgiving GMAT gal! I live in US, and heard on radio today that its thanksgiving in Canada, I was like thanksgiving in October well thats not bad, it is winter after all.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm in that miserable state that you mentioned in the post. The moment I sit down myself to study, I either begin yawning, or tug my hair or notice those itsy bitsy spots on the table, its just too much resistance I try to overcome, imagine it took me 4 hours to review 48 questions! Well I atleast realize now that I got to start enjoying it somehow instead of cribbing about it...
Anyway, have a happy gmat fille holiday!
